College Bound?

Well, the past school week i missed out 3 days because I traveled through the state of Florida on a College Tour, one of the most rewarding and interesting expiriences in my life. College is a subject that we all juniors would love to slap in the face nad turn away from but eventually it will slap us, and much sooner than we think. If you would like to research on your own about some great tips that were givin to me by college admissions officers verbatim visit this useful website http://www.collegeanswer.com/preparing/content/prep_college_advice.jsp. I'm going to go ahead and give you some bullet tips on the things you should know and be aware of to get accepted to your dream university and to be prepared for the application competition.
  • When applying the uiqueness of your application is vital.
  • During your junior and senior year take initiative, thats what will allow you to succed.
  • Become Bff's with your counselor, they are great to keep under your sleeve for references and recommendation letters.
  • Be organized and keep copies of everything, you can never have too many.
  • Procastinating is the easiest thing to do and the hardest to get away from so DO NOT DO IT!
  • Your essays are the only tool you have to demonstrate your true self, the only place in which you tell the college who you really are and show your bright colors.
  • Apply for as many scholarships as possible, you can only win. Also, begin to apply for those scholarships as soon as your junior year, time flies and procatinating isn't a factor we want to deal with.
  • Have safe schools, don't just apply to one university firmly believing you will get in because chances are your application might be similar to another 50,ooo appling.
