Should You Suck It Up?

NO! Everyone tends to have that one friend that you seem to care for so much, whose crap you withold because you have hopes they'll change for the better, whose words harm you but you straigthen up and push the motorboat on. These things are wrong. Now a days people take advantage of noble, giving hearts to satisfy themselves by treating others wrongly in ways they don't deserve to be treated. i know many people, including myself, who have set aside their feelings of hurt to support a friend who has self-esteem issues and think of others as lower than them to make them feel higher. I stood next to a person like this for a while until this began affcting me. Do not let anyone treat you any less than what you deserve, there are always people who would want to be as ego stable as you and cant for a variety of reasons. This doesn't signify that you should back off, and leave a friend because of a single mistake or a couple but if it surpasses a limit you shouldn't submitt yourself to such treatment. Take wise descisions, for what you do affects both your friend and you.

I think that friends are meant to be always there next to you, if true friends evne exist. You should always say everything you want to say, share your feelings too, never hide them. If a perso is going to hide them, then what's the point of having friends? if they are just going to use you to get advice, then they should just get a psychologist.

It hurts to have someone you keep so close to your heart disrespect you in a way that leaves you feeling inferior or like dirt. We call them friends but are they really friends? I've had my share of experiences with different types of people. Sometimes friends don’t realize what they are doing to someone else but sometimes they know exactly what they’re doing and do these things to take themselves feel superior. I‘ve learnt my lesson and it is to never let anyone take advantage of you.

Friends are not those people who say something is good when it's really not. Friends should always say the truth and even though one is wrong friends should help them out.Friends are not there just to hear you, they are there to help you.

I think that friends are very important in life but you can care for your friends and i know you have that one special friend that you put up with there attitudes etc. all the time but don't let them walk all over you cause just because you put up with them doesn't mean they can just walk all over you and take you for granted like that. I've leaned my lesson. I have hung out with many different people but i learned not to lower your self for anybody, it doesn't matter how much they mean to you.
